If something is broken, missing, or just confusing, write to support@eswarden.com. We try to reply within two business days. Noctuary is a keepsake for your dreams, not a crisis or medical service — if a dream surfaces something heavy, please also reach out to someone you trust or a qualified professional.
Frequently asked
How does the dream painting work?
You tell last night’s dream in your own words. Our server reads it, draws out symbols, mood, figures, and tags, and paints four to six fragments into a single gilt collage. All of this runs server-side; the art is generated for you and saved to your private atlas.
Why only one dream per night?
The ritual is built around the morning after. Once today’s dream exists, the capture button steps aside and shows you today’s collage until tomorrow. It’s a natural rhythm, not a paywall.
Is there a free trial?
Your first dream is painted free inside onboarding — that’s the sample, so you see the full “aha” before deciding. After that, Noctuary is a single subscription (monthly or yearly) with everything included. There are no other in-app purchases.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Noctuary → Cancel. On Android: Play Store → menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Noctuary → Cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
What happens to my atlas if I stop subscribing?
You keep read-only access to your own dreams and settings. New captures, the patterns (star map, mood climate, bestiary, chapters), and the year report pause until you resubscribe — your existing atlas isn’t deleted.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store you bought through. For Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google: open the Play Store, find the purchase, tap Refund. If the store declined a refund you think we can help with, write to support@eswarden.com.
How do I export or delete my atlas?
Open Settings → Account → Export data for a file of your dreams, tags, and moods, along with the collage images. To remove everything, Settings → Account → Delete account — server-side data tied to your account is removed within 30 days.
Are my dreams private?
Yes. Your atlas is yours. There is no public feed by default, we don’t run behavioural ads, and we don’t sell your text. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
